I've built my career around growing businesses, currently in a fast-paced start-up where I am responsible for growing sales, and prior to that in an academic setting where I led a brand-new battery prototyping facility from idea through to profitable operation. I'm an expert in technical and business aspects of renewable energy and transportation technology, with a strong focus on battery technology. I thrive at the intersection of technology and business. I joined Northvolt in May of 2024 as a Senior Manager, Business Development. In that role, I am responsible for generating business opportunities, driving customer dialogues and closing deals with different kind of customers within the automotive segment for the North American market. Prior to my position at Northvolt, I worked for nearly 4 years at Northvolt subsidiary Cuberg. I grew sales over 10 fold over a period of three years. Founded in 2015 to power the rise of electric mobility, Cuberg delivers breakthrough battery technology that provides major performance gains, low capital costs and low-risk, standard manufacturing processes to customers building the next generation of electric mobility solutions, from the aerospace industry to the automotive industry. During my time at the University of Michigan Energy Institute, I played a key role in raising over $15 million from government and private partners to establish a brand-new battery prototyping facility. I led the University of Michigan Battery Lab from inception through to profitable operation. I am known as a credible, dependable, professional leader with a strong technical and managerial background, combined with excellent interpersonal skills for fostering relations, and building, leading, and managing cross-functional teams that produce results.
