Jason Brandt is currently based in Austin, Texas and serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer for Santé Ventures and Santé Capital. Mr. Brandt’s efforts focus on the financial and compliance activities of Santé Capital and ensure the firm meets all regulatory requirements. Prior to Santé Capital, Mr. Brandt served as the Regional Head of Fund Services for the Americas for Maples Fund Services. Mr. Brandt’s efforts focused on servicing the growing North American business through expansion of administration, middle-office and risk services to investment managers, institutional investors and family offices. Mr. Brandt had responsibility over mandates serviced from North America, overseeing client relationships, business development and operations teams and played a key leadership role in the management and development of the business across the Americas. Prior to Maples Fund Services, served as Director of Client Services for Alternative Fund Services with Deutsche Bank. In charge of supporting all client service relationships with respect to hedge funds, fund of funds, private equity and real estate funds across EMEA and Asia. Previous position with Deutsche Bank was Director of Client Services for Hedge Fund Administration globally based in California. Prior to Deutsche Bank, served as Managing Director / COO of Hedgeworks, which was acquired by Deutsche Bank in 2008. Recruited by Hedgeworks in the start-up phase to establish a formalized operational environment. Mr. Brandt played an integral role growing the company from less than $1B-to-$10B+ assets under administration serving 100+ hedge funds. Mr. Brandt’s early career history included positions as Assistant Vice President of Global Portfolio Administration for Capital Guardian Trust Company, and Accountant roles at both Ernst & Young and Coopers & Lybrand. Mr. Brandt is a current member of the CFA Institute and a Certified Public Accountant.
