In her most recent role as a Program/Operations Manager for a rapidly growing startup federal contracting company within the intelligence community, Billie Jo has expanded her already robust portfolio of skills and experience. She has gained formal education in subcontracting support for CONUS and OCONUS theatre operations, earned her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI, and leveraged her experience in research lab buildouts to successfully manage the build-out and move into a new 10,000-square-foot office space. Furthermore, Billie Jo's hands-on approach, human capital expertise, and administrative prowess have ensured that all employees are well-equipped to deliver the most productive and efficient results in diverse and fluctuating environments. Billie Jo’s past experiences have highlighted her ability to adapt and overcome any challenge. As a Deputy Director of Strategic Growth, she excelled at connecting with senior leadership, providing focus and direction to cross-functional teams, and thrived in fast-paced, high-stress environments. In her role as a Deputy Program Manager for a rapidly expanding COVID-19 testing organization that operated over 400 individual testing sites across eight states, she developed skills in regulatory compliance and assurance, specifically with CAP, CLIA, OSHA, and FDA requirements. In that same position, she demonstrated expertise in gaining and maintaining licensure and accreditation for all COVID-19 remote testing facilities. Finally, as an Operations Manager for a media research company located in the Washington DC Metropolitan area, Billie Jo successfully established a research lab facility from concept to operation as well as provided guidance for continuing operations in a highly competitive social media research industry.
