Greetings! I'm Angela D. Harris, a Construction Special Inspector and Air Force veteran with over 12 years of public service experience. My professional journey took flight in the United States Air Force, where I served as a Logistics Management Specialist during pivotal events, including 9/11. This military foundation instilled in me the values of discipline, teamwork, and strategic planning, which I apply in my professional endeavors. In my current role, I focus on quality control and compliance for civil, commercial, and infrastructural projects, including CALTrans/NDOT, HCAI (OSHPD), DSA, and various residential projects. I hold a Master of Science degree in Organizational Development and a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Behavior and Leadership from the University of San Francisco, both of which provide me with strong project management and leadership skills. Key Expertise & Contributions: 🔹 Quality Control & Assurance 🔹 Project Management 🔹 Concrete, Steel, and Soils 🔹 Certifications: ACI, ICC, NDT 🔹 Logistics Management 🔹 Safety Management of Hazardous Environments 🔹 Data Analysis & Reporting 🔹 Public Speaking & Community Engagement 🔹 Leadership & Collaboration 🔹 OSHA Certified My internationally recognized certifications for special inspections highlight my proven knowledge and expertise. Construction inspection requires a commitment toward continued education and professional development. In order to ensure my contributions to significant projects such as the USACE Levee Reinforcements and CalTrans HWY 80 Expansion, I diligently pursue additional certifications and opportunities, to make myself an asset, as industry standards require meticulous attention to detail to better serve the client. Community service and advocacy are important to me. As former Board Chair of Shih Yu-Lang Central YMCA, I led fundraising initiatives to improve health and wellness in the Tenderloin. I delivered discussions to raise awareness about programs such as Ronald McDonald House Charities® Northern California, highlighting the need for resources for children and families. I am eager to explore new opportunities to apply my skills and contribute to impactful projects. As a Construction Special Inspector, project manager, community and health advocate. I am always optimistic about future joint efforts, and I look forward to crushing our goals!
