
National Security Analyst & Adjunct Professor; Financial Crimes, Human Trafficking, Cybersecurity, and Child Exploitation Investigations
Amy Storer supervises an intelligence team for Homeland Security Investigations in Miami, Florida. Currently, Storer leads a financial crimes task force, covering a range of crimes. Previously, Storer worked at Washington D.C. Headquarters with collective experience at the National Targeting Center; the Tactical Intelligence Cell; the National Intelligence Watch; and the Office of the White House Liaison. Ongoing casework in these positions include counter-terrorism; human slavery; financial fraud; and child exploitation. Storer also served as a Congressional Liaison for Homeland working in close coordination with Congressional leaders on Homeland Security Policy. Storer was invited to speak at the 2017 Interpol Crimes Against Children international conference following a successful international operation. Ms. Storer achieved two masters degrees from Harvard University and Johns Hopkins after attending Michigan Tech on a full-ride basketball scholarship. Storer became a Professor at age 27 and currently instructs courses on American Government; Homeland Security Policy; International Relations; and Human Trafficking at Miami Dade College and Idaho State University. Michigan Tech University honored Ms. Storer at the "Top 5 Alumni Under 35" event to inspire future generations in 2020. In 2021, company Zero Trafficking awarded Storer as the federal human trafficking investigator of the year. As a Professor and investigator, her victims and students are the driving force. Our nation is losing the battle on slavery; child exploitation; and financial crimes. From child sex slavery to labor trafficking, the goal is to partner with passionate leaders to fervently support our mission. Ms. Storer volunteers at the National Child Protection Task Force in efforts to find missing children nationwide. She is an avid golfer and tennis player.
