I am addicted to building products driven by data + design. My ethos is to never compromise the product and build a beautiful user experience coupled with powerful functionality that just works. Building an excellent digital product has to feel organic, fluid, and responsive. The goal is to find the perfect balance of solving a real problem but simultaneously capturing our imagination and heart. In other words, the perfect balance of logic + magic. Since choosing to walk on the path of entrepreneurship, the greatest thing I learned is to have unprecedented drive and focus, equivalent to a deep-keeled ocean liner navigating through the treacherous waters, only disrupted subtly by the highs & lows of the waves of life. Master yourself through discipline, allow your mind to open, practice fearlessness, accept that death is your only downfall, and find comfort in extreme uncertainty. Walking on the path of uncertainty allows the magic, mystery, excitement, and infinite possibilities to manifest. Failure is inevitable, however, never accept it as defeat, as it is a critical part of the growing process. Life is 99% process and 1% destination so learn to enjoy the process. Identify the best in your category, learn from them, and be 10% better. Define your purpose, create a vision, obsess yourself over every aspect of it, lose sleep, take risks, gracefully let go of the people that are in your way, and most importantly, execute it. As Mark Twain stated, The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.
