As the Director, Operations for MSL Infra, you will be at the forefront of AI innovation, supporting the Meta Superintelligence Lab (MSL) Infra pillar. You will drive impact across Meta’s most critical teams by leading complex, technical programs and cross-functional initiatives. This role requires a strong technical background and deep experience in program management, strategy, and planning. You will partner with Support, Engineering, and Product teams to deliver measurable results, shape strategy, and lead programs that power MSL Infra’s mission. You will manage programs and processes that support the team and product, ensuring high ROI and alignment to annual goals and long-range planning milestones. You will serve as an accelerant to technical projects, bringing together stakeholders, developing frameworks, aligning on tradeoffs, and driving execution.
Director, Business Operations, MSL Infra Responsibilities:
- Manage rhythm of business, org operations, and ad hoc org-related projects.
- Build and optimize systems, processes, tools, and standards that improve creative production within the organization.
- Define strategy, set goals, and drive alignment across teams.
- Lead cross-functional product group initiatives such as headcount allocation and tracking, budget planning, annual planning, organizational transformation projects, and culture programs.
- Lead internal communications for the product group, including All Hands, leadership presentations, and event talking points.
- Prioritize competing needs with sound reasoning and viable solutions across multiple teams and projects.
- Develop and maintain program charters, OKRs, and detailed roadmaps for major initiatives across the organization. Identify dependencies and align stakeholders.
- Drive a data driven decision making culture, ensuring senior leaders have the right data to make decisions.
- Align engineering, research, and product teams to ensure infrastructure investments support evolving business and technical priorities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in business, finance, engineering, or related equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in program/project management, strategy and planning, or similar
- 5+ years working directly with engineering, product, or other technical organizations
- Quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving skills combined with business acumen
- Proven communication and executive influence skills
- Experience problem-solving individually and in a group setting
- Proven track record of organizing, developing, and executing strategy projects that deliver results
- Experience partnering with cross-functional leadership to turn insights into actions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or related field
- Experience leading large-scale, cross-team initiatives
- Experience working with confidential information while maintaining discretion
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and cloud platforms

$233,000/year to $299,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits. Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
