Design, strategy, and innovation leader with over a decade of experience helping international organisations, startups, social enterprises, UN, and governments turn ideas into products and service experiences that make the difference in the world.
My journey began with a MSc Degree in Development Economics and International Cooperation, where I gained a deep understanding of the intricacies of working in low and middle-income Countries. My initial work on social business and entrepreneurship laid the groundwork for my subsequent specialisation in strategic design and innovation, as key competences to accelerate societal and environmental progress.
Both in-house and as a consultant, I have worked across Europe (Italy, Germany, The Netherlands) Central Asia (Bangladesh, Uzbekistan) and Africa (Ghana, Rwanda, Zimbabwe) on a variety of projects and in different industries, from microfinance to healthcare, education, travel and beyond.
Over the last 10 years I have been deepening my expertise in conducting research to inform the design of new propositions as well as redesigning existing ones at Philips, The Walt Disney Company and for clients like The European Investment Bank, Ana Airports, The Impact Hub, and many more.
In parallel, I have earned a Design Thinking degree at the HPI School of Design Thinking (Stanford D.school’s branch in Berlin) and an MBA in Service Innovation and Design with a thesis that focused on designing education experiences for learners with different cultural backgrounds.
With a passion for leveraging innovation to foster social and environmental impact, I work at the crossroads of business, service innovation and design to help organisations make sense of complex systems, identify new areas of opportunity and shape strategic service propositions that meet user needs and match business goals. Rooted in a commitment to fostering positive social and environmental impact, I prioritise projects that aim to contribute meaningfully to communities and society at large.
