The world around us is a crazy place and every single day we get more hang of our existence in such a crazy world. From what I have realized, my existence revolves around writing code, thinking about optimal solutions, watching good shows, and football. I am a graduate student at the University of Southern California pursuing a master’s in Computer Science and a Software Developer having six years of programming experience familiar with Python, Java, Javascript, C, and C++. While working as a Software Engineer at VuNet Systems, I lead the development of the entire backend of two core features of their main product. During my undergrad, I had the chance to work at some exciting startups. My work at these companies started from preparing design documents, writing code, refactoring legacy code, working on optimizations, code reviews, and deployment. I have worked with backend frameworks for the past six years and am very comfortable writing scalable solutions. I was also a part of DJ-Unicode: a student-run organization for promoting open source development at my undergrad college. I joined Unicode as a backend developer working on Student Information Portal. Later, I took up a mentor role at Unicode, mentoring juniors on a canteen-based ordering system and an online examination portal.
