Since its founding in 2006 at Stanford University, the program has graduated 117 programs, of which 43 were licensed to startup companies, 13 licensed to existing companies, and 17 in clinical trials, amounting to a success rate of 62%. Through a unique combination of mentorship and financial support, the program shepherds exciting academic discoveries through preclinical discovery hand in hand with over 200 volunteer industry advisers and seed funding to reach exciting outcomes.
