We strive to locate & mine the critical-creative seam: to cultivate the scholar-poet / painter-activist / auteur-intellectual in the face of the professional disciplinary caste; thus to liberate ‘the creative forces from the tutelage of the advocates of power,' described by Richard Huelsenbeck in the days of the Cabaret Voltaire. We aim to rebalance the stress that other established universities place on the generation of individual capital with the value of collaborative endeavour across the curriculum.
