The Mill House Animal Sanctuary cares for all types of unwanted and abandoned animals including dogs, cats, chickens, cows, sheep, goats, ducks, pigeons, pigs (the list goes on), although our main concern has always been equines. Our first rescue was back in 1948 when the family saved a pony called Dolly from a slaughter house. Twins, Pat and Jane were just 6 years old at the time Dolly was rescued and that was the beginning of their lifelong dedication to help 'Animals in need', which subsequently became The Mill House Animal Sanctuary.
