EIA develops sustainable infrastructure that reduces poverty and helps people live healthy dignified lives. | According to the World Bank: 2.2 billion people lack access to clean drinking water; 4.2 billion people lack access to safely managed sanitation services (e.g., toilets); 3 billion people lack access to basic hand-washing facilities; and 1 billion people lack access to critical resources like healthcare, education, or employment due to an impassable river. Engineers in Action seeks to alleviate the poverty caused by these issues. We do this by leveraging the resources of our global partners to engage underserved communities and their governments to implement life-changing water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) projects and the bridges needed to access them.
