The Emerging Leaders Scholarship Program provides a scholarship award and professional development opportunities. | We, the Council of Korean Americans (CKA), believe in the importance of Korean Americans being actively involved in public and community service. CKA recognizes that internships provide the best opportunities to encourage college and graduate students to engage in public service. Unfortunately, many students cannot afford to participate in summer internships due to the high financial commitment to work in an unpaid position or the high cost of relocating for the summer to Washington DC or New York City.
