Mentoring software developers through open-source projects! | Unicode is a student chapter of Computer Engineering Department at Dwarkadas J Sanghvi College of Engineering. It was founded in 2017, by students who wished to encapsulate a 'summer of code'​ paradigm for a set of sophomores mentored by junior and senior-year undergraduate students - teaching them programming to a level where they are now familiar with not only software development but also associated tools for version control and remote collaboration. With the motto "You and I Code"​, Unicode provides selected students the opportunity to work in teams on open source collaborations.
