Our founders wanted to use the internet to create a more competitive, open, and efficient market for used textbooks. At the end of every semester, we were frustrated by a process that typically included: -Walks across campus to the bookstore -Long lines -Short operating hours -Few books eligible for buyback -Low prices -Impersonal service It was stressful enough having to contend with finals and preparing to go home!
