It was a joint venture between Air China Limited (60%) and Lufthansa German Airlines (40%). On June 1st 2015, by restructuring the shareholdings in Ameco, Air China and Lufthansa integrated the MRO resources in former Ameco and former Air China Technics (ACT) to establish new Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering Corporation (New Ameco) that is still a joint venture between Air China and Lufthansa, with Air China holding 75% and Lufthansa holding 25%.
