I’m the founder of The Lawton Group, a consulting practice built to help small businesses and early-stage companies lay strong foundations, solve operational puzzles, and grow with clarity. Drawing on nearly a decade of experience across customer success, sales enablement, and GTM strategy, I partner with business owners to bring structure to the chaos—through thoughtful strategy, efficient systems, and a collaborative mindset.
From scaling startups to advising solo founders, I thrive on untangling complex challenges, improving internal operations, and helping teams move with purpose. I take pride in being the utility player who asks the right questions, builds the right frameworks, and keeps both the customer and the bottom line in view.
Approachably buttoned up, usually caffeinated, typically looking for a laugh.
As Chief Revenue Officer at NESN and SportsNet Pittsburgh, I lead all advertising revenue initiatives and monetization strategies across two of the most dynamic regional sports networks in the country. I oversee all advertising revenue across linear, digital, and emerging platforms, including FAST channels, CTV, and sports betting integrations, while spearheading high-impact partnerships with Fortune 500 brands.
I’m passionate about building future-ready media businesses that thrive at the intersection of content, technology, and brand strategy. From pioneering new revenue streams to negotiating multi-million-dollar sponsorships, I thrive on transforming opportunities into growth and aligning business development with long-term strategic vision.
Beyond the boardroom, I’m deeply committed to championing women in sports and leadership. I serve as Executive Chair of NESN’s Women of NESN (WON) ERG and as VP of the Boston chapter of Women in Sports and Events (WISE). These roles fuel my passion for mentorship, advocacy, and creating more inclusive pathways in sports media.
My motto, “CRUSH MONDAY,” is more than a mindset—it’s how I lead, grow, and inspire. It reflects a relentless commitment to impact, excellence, and showing up with purpose.
Industry honors include CableFax’s Most Powerful Women (2024), NYC TV Week’s 40 Under 40 (2023), Cynopsis Media Industry Leader (2023), and WICT New England’s Women to Watch finalist.
Let’s connect if you're passionate about shaping the future of media, elevating women in leadership, or partnering to create innovative brand solutions.
An attorney by training, an entrepreneur in spirit, and an executive leader through experience, my career has focused for more than a decade in the sports industry on start-up companies, technology offerings, and pioneering business initiatives.
After earning my J.D. at Seton Hall, I went to work for the National Hockey League (NHL) and then Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLB.com). Ever since, I’ve worked at the unique intersection of sports, entertainment/media, and technology – including COO of a pioneering mobile video SaaS offering targeting sports broadcasters and partner in a venture investment firm focused on sports and entertainment firms.
I have been intimately involved in all aspects of entrepreneurship, from envisioning the concept, business planning, hiring, operations build out, funds raising, strategic partnerships, outsourcing, finances, marketing, and more.
With a focus on action and results, I am a leader who jumps into the trenches, learning and then executing the necessary steps to achieve goals, enthusiastically working to keep everything moving forward to make our shared vision a reality.
