Here's a story about myself: Came out from a normal, moderate and hardworking family. My parents work very hard to make sure that every child in the family is being fed, even it means they are not getting their fill.
When I was around 4-6, I helped out my mum to go various houses to help in housekeeping. When I was 15, I took small part times to earn enough of a living to not depend on allowance provided by my parents, and it was since then I decided to not take anymore allowance from them.
At the age of 16, I started to work in a proper company for part time. It was my first job, (Unisys), it is a company that process cheque. The pay was average but enough to sustain.
At the age of 17, after my SPM, I had my first full time job, which is in the hotel industry, in a hotel called PPisland Hotel Sdn Bhd. I had the pleasure of improving my interpersonal skills and also technical skills, in terms of communication with international guest, hotel infrastructure, facilities maintenance and housekeeping matters.
The job in PPisland goes on, in between full time and part time as I juggle it with my studies during STPM and also university.
Moving on, after my STPM, I had the pleasure of working full time in a restaurant called Ah Soon Ma/ Pit Stop no.12. I am still working part time in PPisland while I am working full time in the restaurant. The owner was quick to believe in me and entrusted main responsibilities of handling the restaurant to me, while occasionally guide me through the process of maintaining a restaurant. In here, I managed to brush up my communication skills yet again in communicating with both local and international customers.
Flash forward, to my university life. I had my degree in a university called Wawasan Open University. It was a wonderful campus by the sea near Gurney. At here, I was facing one of the difficult moments in my life, where I had to juggle 4 part-time jobs at once(1 in hotel, 1 in restaurant, and 2 more in events) while studying full time. Not just that, I was entrusted to few positions such as the Vice-president of student council and also president of few clubs. However, the hard moments are over, I am proud of my achievement to managed to complete my degree with First Class Honour,all while working 4 part time jobs and handle my social positions well.
Another achievement I am proud as well is towards, I managed to pay up fully my loan that I got from Penang State and my outstanding fees.
Now, I am looking in the opportunities that is offered by the future!! Open to new stories and new connections around the world!

I am a graduate from San Jose State University with a strong passion for technology. With my Bachelor’s degree in Finance, I am interested in opportunities that will allow me to pursue FP&A roles within the tech industry.
Throughout my academic journey, I’ve gained invaluable experiences through many internship roles and jobs that have fostered my growth as a driven and ambitious individual. With experience in both small startups and large corporations, I’ve honed a range of soft and hard skills. Collaborating directly with controllers and cross-functional teams have shaped me into an adaptable team player that is capable of problem solving. Additionally, I have gained exposure to platforms such as Microsoft Suite, SAP, Quickbooks, and Salesforce.
I am currently supporting the Cost Accounting team at Sandisk, as a Financial Analyst. Within this role, I’ve been able to familiarize myself with more softwares that include SAP Enhanced Product Planning (EPP) and PowerBI. Moreover, I have been able to delve deeper into the arrays of tools and functionalities that are available in Excel.
