An experienced Internet executive and entrepreneur, Michael founded Userplane (acquired by AOL) and became the youngest SVP at AOL. He later became the CEO of MySpace, overseeing global strategy. Michael’s collective angel investments, including Scopely (acquired by Savvy Games for $4.9B), House Party (acquired by Epic), Maker Studios (acquired by Disney), and GoodReads (acquired by Amazon), have sold for a combined value over $6B.

Product leader focused on disruptive products that change the way people interact and communicate with each other and discover new information. I like playing with the latest and greatest technology, but my greatest thrills come from applying that into new situations where anyone can use it without understanding the tech. You know you've succeeded when your neighbors tell you about the latest thing they've discovered... and you've worked on it. Most important to me is finding an amazing group of talented people to share the journey with. I have been lucky to be a part of several of the most significant internet and social companies and led or was involved in key projects that have altered their trajectories. I held early product, growth, and platform roles at LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter including launching LinkedIn Jobs, Facebook Connect, and leading Twitter's early relevance efforts such as trends and user recommendations. More recently, I led the product, marketing, and design teams at Robinhood as we more than doubled the userbase, revenue, and the team in 2018-19. I've also spent many years at Greylock as a General Partner where I led series A and B investments and served on the board of the next wave of social products including Discord, Musical.ly (now Tiktok), Medium, and more.

I am the founder and CEO of Springworks - build category defining work culture. AI enabled employee background verification(SpringVerify)and Employee Engagement(EngageWith) I served as the Director, Technology at Science($1.5B+ exits) earlier. I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh with Masters from the Language Technologies Institute, School of Computer Science focusing on Big Data, Machine Learning, NLP and Bio-technology. During this time there, I was part of the IBM Watson project and worked on genome analysis with machine learning. In 2010, I founded AutoBudder - a software which automatically wishes friends on their birthdays. AutoBudder reached out to 4 million people at its peak and won the ACM Challenge of Code. Prior to that, I served as the CTO of LetMeKnow.com an online portal delivering internships, scholarships, conferences etc to college students in India. My hackathon kitty includes- the FWD.us hackathon at Facebook, AWS, HackNY and NYUAD. I am also a Kairos Global Fellow (2012) and was invited to the White House to meet with senators and administration to lobby for changes to the immigration laws.
