3D Systems acquired Volumetric Biotechnologies in the fall of 2021, and it became the foundation for the world-class bioprinting facility being established in Houston, Texas. From this facility, 3D Systems is accelerating the development of vascularized human tissues and bioprinted constructs, and creating clear technological leadership in the rapidly emerging bioprinting field.
