Hello, and good day! My name is Johnathan! I'm am a student, speaker, and believer in people. My goal is to empower others and leave the world a better place, through immersive technologies, and empathy. I'm coming up on 18 years team leadership experience over the span of my career. Operations, General, Technical, Training, and Field management. Just shy of 10 years specifically in the immersive/XR space. Since I was 11 I've been building my own computers, tearing apart tech just to see how it works, and spending hours in front of a screen absorbing every bit of information I could. You'll see that up above I skipped over a chance to write a small witty sentence about leadership. Here's why: 7777 A lot of my friends and colleagues know me by this number because well, it's tattooed on my right forearm. For over 15 years, I've specialized in making complex game engines and technologies, like Unreal and Havok, accessible to everyone—from technical developers to creative designers. My career at companies such as Nexon, Unity, and Havok taught me that the best technology solutions go beyond features; they are about deeply understanding product needs and helping teams succeed. I brought this customer-first approach to the blockchain world as Ecosysem Engineer / Game tech lead at the Solana Foundation (2022-2024). I partnered with enterprises across the Asia-Pacific region to navigate Web3 adoption and witnessed the industry evolve from high-end technology to robust financial ecosystems built with stablecoins and Real World Assets. What truly drives me is helping products and people realize the full potential of a new technology. Whether it's a game developer discovering visual programming with Unreal Blueprint or an enterprise finding the right blockchain use case, I love being part of that transformative journey. I’ve had the opportunity to share my insights at major conferences like GDC China and Blockchain Week Japan, serve as a hackathon judge in Vietnam, and guest lecture at Web3@KAIST.
