I am a finance and general business major at Pace University—Lubin School of Business. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration. I have a strong interest in portfolio analysis and investing.
During my undergraduate studies, I had the opportunity to serve as a member of the Queens Infinity Fortune Group where I helped small businesses promote their services to potential customers.
While attending school, I worked part-time as a business service and data entry specialist with the Chinese Community Service Center. I provided online support with rent and housing matters and helped customers apply for driver's licenses, food stamps, Medicare, Medicaid, and unemployment benefits. This position allowed me to hone my communication and customer service skills. I was also able to use my ability to speak Mandarin, which greatly benefited the people I served.
During the school year, assisting both consumer and retail customers with their online purchases, and addressing their questions and preferences regarding the products. I have developed my communication, customer service, and data entry skills through this role, and I have used my bilingual ability in Mandarin and English to serve the diverse needs of the customers.
I have gained valuable knowledge and skills in finance, business, and economics through my coursework, projects, and extracurricular activities, such as the Pace University Investment Club, where I managed a portfolio and traded stock. I have also obtained the Bloomberg Market Concepts certification, demonstrating my proficiency in using the Bloomberg Terminal and analyzing financial data. Highly quantitative, and detail-oriented.
