With over 2 years of experience in the tech industry, Piyush has honed his problem-solving skills as a Research Assistant at Indiana University Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering. Here he contributed to an Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Agency (IARPA) project under the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), implemented the PaKman gnome algorithm on distributed memory systems, and optimized them accordingly for asynchronous execution (multi-threading) in modern C++.
His dedication is also evident from his time as a Data Science Intern at Crowe where he developed a model to detect table structures in document pages using hugging face BEiT-v1 architecture. This initiative improved model performance by achieving a 92.3% recall rate and implemented a cost-saving strategy reducing expenses by 90%.

He is well-versed in data structures and algorithms which form the backbone of his critical thinking abilities.
