Over 25 years of experience in software engineering, I have led software teams and advised high-impact tech startups across different verticals and territories. I leverage my expertise in software engineering to provide guidance on technology, teams and product strategies.
As a Senior Solutions Architect at AWS I help startups accelerate their growth towards their objectives. I make sure teams have what they need to make informed decisions given their business context by balancing best practices with trade-offs.
Prior to joining AWS, I was the CTO of Axel Johnson's first fintech enterprise venture, Humla, where I built and led a diverse and highly skilled engineering team. I defined and implemented the initial technology and team strategies. I also worked as a Startup Advisor where I partnered with the CEO of Returnado to offer technology and people advice. I have also held different engineering leadership positions at several startups such as Spotify, Klarna and FeedZai.
In a previous life I was a reaseacher in AI and published several internationally refereed papers on Ontologies, Knowledge Management and Natural Language many of which are still being actively cited today.
