I am the Principal of Taper and lead the strategy and management of our energy management and decarbonization practice. In this role, I report to the Taper Board of Directors, serve on the Executive Team and lead/oversee Taper and serve as Executive Sponsor of the Electric Vehicle Charging team. Our work focuses on making building efficiency projects easy and profitable for commercial customers and transportation electrification solutions accessible to multifamily and commercial customers. Before Taper and Ecology Action, I led the commercial energy efficiency program portfolio team at Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E). My team managed programs that helped commercial customers save energy and assisted PG&E in meeting its annual energy savings goals. I also led the development of the $110M commercial program portfolio strategy for doubling energy efficiency in existing buildings within California by 2030. My prior positions at PG&E included work on the Government and Community Partnerships, Residential Energy Efficiency Programs, and the Core Products teams. Specifically, I worked on strategy, product and program design, implementation and operations, and regulatory compliance. Before PG&E, I worked as a Project Manager, where I oversaw program and process development in the energy efficiency space and public outreach and education for large infrastructure projects. I have in-depth experienced planning interactive community events and creating communication and marketing collateral for building projects in the planning, design and construction phases. In addition, I have marketing experience in the architecture, engineering and construction industries. Specialties: Leading cross-functional teams; optimizing portfolios and products using data analytics; providing user-centric strategic management; leading portfolios of programs; driving regulatory compliance; creating business plans; conducting marketing and business development; managing projects including preparing and monitoring scopes, budgets and schedules; writing and preparing RFP responses.
