I am a Senior Associate at Khaitan & Co, India's oldest full-service law firm in its market-leading Data Protection practice. I specialise in advising high profile clients in solving complex and challenging structuring issues with data, reconciling innovation with privacy concerns in India’s competitive digital economy. I represent some of the largest international as well as Indian businesses in becoming compliance with India's new data protection law, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, modeled on the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
I was recently awarded the prestigious Chevening Scholarship by the Government of the United Kingdom to complete my Master of Law (LLM) at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), one of the world's top law schools. At LSE, I closely studied EU regulation on data protection and governance, digital markets and competition, as well as AI and other emerging technologies.

Prior to LSE, as part of Trilegal's Technology, Media and Telecommunications Team, I advised the world's largest data-driven businesses on structuring complex data sharing and processing arrangements, strategising personal data breach and cyber security incident responses and vetting EU - India in-bound data transfers for leading outsourced service providers from a GDPR perspective. I specialise in carrying out end-to-end data protection gap assessments as well as ensureing business can make their products, services, tech and infrastructure compliance with data protection law.
