My personal motto: Patience, Compassion, Grit My favorite quote for rallying spirits: “Stay curious and leave it better than you found it.” Each day I come to work with three goals 1. Delight the customer 2. Protect the company/brand 3. Reduce wear and tear on the workers I achieve those goals by inspiring my teams to realize their full potential through empathetic leadership and setting goals and priorities in a way that balances all three. With more than two decades in automotive and powersports industries, I’ve developed my technical, project/product, and leadership skills through exposure to a stunning array of challenges. I have experienced all phases of product development and manufacturing I can take ideas from the initial gray zone to black and white actionable plans I can breakdown very complicated issues to help teams understand the current status, identify the ideal state, define the gap, and outline steps to close that gap. I can identify and mitigate risks. Toyota instilled in me a need for continuous improvement while Polaris nurtured a strong sense of urgency and ownership. Those two companies also showed me opposite ends of the spectrum in several areas, which taught me how to propose right-sized solutions for specific cases. I find that at the end of the day, almost all of the people in an organization are trying to do the right thing for the customer and company, and conflicts usually arise due to differing approaches or priorities. Staying calm, listening, and aligning people’s goals can allow those difficult times to turn into amazing opportunities for speedy and efficient progress. I personally enjoy motorcycling, being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with my wife and two dogs.
