Dynamic and results-driven Social Media Marketer with over 9 years of experience in content creation and 4+ years as a professional social media manager, specializing in the fashion, beauty, and entertainment industries.
Notably, I’ve helped clients achieved video reach of 1,960,000+ views through compelling storytelling and strategic execution. By leveraging analytics and performance insights, I’ve driven a 40% increase in brand engagement and a 60% boost in overall engagement rates.
Skilled in video editing, graphic design, SEO, copywriting, and platform optimization, I excel in amplifying brand visibility on Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. With expertise in creator partnerships, team collaboration, and audience growth strategies, I’m committed to helping brands connect authentically with their communities and achieve impactful digital growth.
🔍 I invest pre-seed, advise startups, and lead go-to-market teams. I tend to think differently. When presented with A or B, I often wonder why we aren’t thinking about C, or why we’re talking about letters when we should be talking about numbers 😅
💸 As an investor, I’m most interested in markets positioned to outperform in a changing world, but in a way that is less obvious or over-exploited. More general areas of interest include AI, developer tools, cyber security, and any software that can help people be more data-driven.
📈 As an operator, I’ve helped grow 4 startups to acquisitions totaling $9.3B, and 2 IPOs totalling $16B. I’ve led all marketing functions, sales development, inside sales, sales operations, and BI. I’ve hired and managed well over 100 people, and seen them go on to be successful CEOs, investors, CMOs, VPs of demand gen, software engineers, sales leaders, and more.
🚀 My leadership style started out as being hyper critical of things that were “being done wrong” and pushing for a better way. As I led larger teams, and came to learn that I didn’t have all the answers, I gravitated toward servant leadership. After seeing a couple companies struggle with consensus culture when operating at scale, I now take a more active leadership posture; advancing concrete points of view, soliciting feedback, and then making change happen.
🧐 I strive to be on the cutting edge of go-to-market strategy in terms of community, demand, and technology. I've been an early adopter of many modern GTM technologies and approaches, including:
- Data-driven thought leadership (2009)
- PLG (2011)
- Splitting inbound vs outbound SDR functions (2012)
- Customer advocacy program (2014)
- B2B demand forecasting to inform hiring decisions (2014)
- Unifying marketing/sales/success ops into GTM ops (2015)
- Enterprise marketing that developers don't hate (2016)
- Non-commissioned sales team (2018)
- Community-led growth infused with demand gen principles (2022)
Now and again you can catch me on a podcast. Here’s one where I advise against PLG (at least for most companies):

🤷🏼♂️ I also have plenty of weaknesses, and made my fair share of mistakes in my career. I have learned from them, and strive to implement those learnings myself as well as share them with others who might otherwise make my same mistakes.
🧠 Currently obsessed with all things LLM.
