Hello, welcome to my profile! I'm Donavern and I graduated from SiT-DigiPen in April 2024. I attained a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Computer Science in Real-Time Interactive Simulation.
During my studies, I gained plenty of experience working in teams of sizes ranging from 4 to 12, as either the technical or graphics lead, mostly developing custom game engines using C++.
I was a full-stack intern at a fast-paced startup named Tatsu Works, where I contributed to development of the live operations dashboard for their game. I grew comfortable collaborating with different teams, learning the development process from start to end. From gathering requirements, presenting ideas, implementing them, to improving features and myself after receiving feedback!
I am currently happily working at OKX Singapore, absorbing all kinds of new knowledge and constantly deepening and refining my skillset!
I am interested in high performance, low latency software development and algorithmic problem-solving. As such, I enjoy watching programming educational videos and reading up on C++, optimizations, machine or compiler inner workings!
You can also find me solving coding challenges and attending online coding contests to further improve my critical thinking and ability to think under pressure. I would love to explore opportunities that you have to share!
