Some consider artificial intelligence a buzzword. I have come to realize how much it has already transformed my personal work. Driven by the belief that AI can be a powerful force for positive transformation, I am actively experimenting with agentic AI and LLMOps-based evals to solve real-world use-cases. Moreover, I am curiously exploring new hybrid organization models where human + AI teammates positively amplify each other. About myself: I am fortunate to have built some businesses that I am highly passionate about. This includes taking Audible internationally and launching it in Germany at a time when the iPod (not iPhone ;) was just released. As part of this exciting journey, I experienced the power a small team can have in overcoming seemingly huge challenges… and having a lot of fun along the way. Now building a philosophy-based company called SwitchUp that seeks to prove >fairness< as the more sustainable business model. After all, life is precious and I want to spend my time doing things I believe in. We operate based on a simple question: What would a good friend do? Our bet: a business built on a conscious philosophy and a deep foundation of trust will persist in the long run. So far, so good: a couple hundred thousand households already rely on our service. We grew to this level despite still not having a single marketing employee in our team. More importantly, our customers genuinely seem to love what we do, as reflected in the 20,000+ reviews on Google, Trustpilot, or Facebook. Currently dreaming big in our 5-story "Haus-der-Fairänderung" at Maybachufer in Berlin. Seeking to turn it into a place of inspiration for like-minded organizations and a lab for experimentation on how AI-enabled, philosophy-based companies can transform entire markets. Other tidbits: I am the world record holder for daily matcha consumption. I spend countless hours passionately perusing the latest scientific findings on health & AI. And I am endlessly curious, in love with audiobooks, regularly drawing inspiration from authors such as Patrick Lencioni (big fan of Five Dysfunctions), Brené Brown (Power of Vulnerability), Carol Dweck (Mindset), Daniel Pink (What Motivates Us), or Simon Sinek (Starting with Why). Questions I am pondering: - What will a hybrid organization look like where human & AI co-workers amplify each other? - How will roles for all of us shift as more agentic AI approaches become the norm? - What is the critical threshold of customers to flip a dysfunctional market? 5m? 10m?

I'm a digital strategist, passionate martial artist and avid music lover with a strong interest in visionary innovations and new technologies that tackle societal challenges. During my career I had opportunity to not just evolve technical skills while building a diversity of things for the web. But also learnt how important is to stimulate collaboration, learn with coleagues, have healthy discussions, write good documentation, use the VCS as a documentation tool, define and follow processes, and ultimately to do the necessary trade-offs to have a sustainable codebase.
