Sigal was also a Partner at Proskauer LLP, served as a law clerk on the US Supreme Court, and worked on Capitol Hill. Under her leadership, the United States issued an unprecedented number of sophisticated sanctions and other economic tools, while implementing complex mitigation measures and issuing guidance related to companies and global markets. With broad regulatory oversight over financial institutions, Sigal spearheaded significant reforms to the United States and international anti-money laundering system. Sigal is a member of the United States Holocaust Memorial Council, serves on the Board of the Financial Technology Association, the Crypto-ISAC and the Blockchain Security Standards Council and previously served on the board of the Crypto Council for Innovation.
