As companies evolve, the line between career and personal life has become less and less defined. The reasons potential employees are attracted to start and stay at a company have become increasingly connected to how we, as employers, can positively impact both their work and home life. I want to know those reasons. As the 1st recruiter at Peloton, I helped grow the Tech team in NY from 20 to 200, while also shaping the recruiting processes. Through my work, I was playing a large part in growing the culture by hiring some of the leaders who have built Peloton’s brilliant culture it has today. Now my focus has shifted away from scaling the team, and towards developing and maintaining a culture that motivates our employees to be great. That means giving them a place to work that “Empowers Teams of Smart Creatives”, while allowing them to have a “Bias for Action”. This also means creating a sense of community, while appreciating the individuality and diversity in thought and experience, because “Together, we go far”. Every employee contributes to the culture in their own way. What would you contribute?
