Feisal Jaffer has over 25 years experience building global businesses and brands within the hotel, real estate and technology industries. In his current role, Jaffer leads the strategic growth and development of LXR Hotels & Resorts, Hilton’s collection of extraordinary, independent luxury hotels for the world’s most seasoned and discerning travelers. Over the last 5 years, the hand-picked LXR collection has grown to 13 hotels across 5 continents with celebrated individual properties including Roku Kyoto, Umana Bali, Mango House Seychelles, the Arizona Biltmore, Oceana Santa Monica, and Ka La`i Waikiki Beach to name a few. The collection has a robust global pipeline in sought-after destinations from Italy, across the Middle East, through to the Caribbean and Beverly Hills. Jaffer joined Hilton from Pontiac Land Group, where he served as Senior Vice President, Acquisitions & Development. Jaffer was responsible for originating and executing hotel investment and development opportunities. In addition, he led capital allocation and selected business development opportunities for Capella Hotel Group. During his tenure, he led Pontiac Land Group's international expansion of marquee and award-winning hotel and resort developments such as the Fari Islands Maldives including Ritz-Carlton and Patina resorts, and Capella Sydney (Sydney Sandstones Project). He was also part of the team that launched Patina Hotels & Resorts, a new luxury-lifestyle brand under the umbrella of Capella Hotel Group. Prior to Pontiac Land Group, Jaffer held investment and business development roles with Host Hotels & Resorts and Fairmont-Raffles Hotels International respectively. He holds an MBA from INSEAD with specializations in Finance and Entrepreneurship, and undergraduate degrees in Rhetoric and Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley.
