- founded and delivered Australia's 1st anti-racism campaign specifically targeting the startup ecosystem (#ShareThePlatform). Exposed to >4m people, from 33 different countries, onboarded >65 campaign partners, produced in <7 weeks. - delivered Australia's 1st Directory amplifying diverse founders (~250)
2021
- delivered Australia's 1st festival amplifying more than 40 WoC entrepreneurs raising >$30K for the community (a x 3 investment of a $10K government grant) with a launch campaign exposed to >3M and supported by >90 community partners - the Curious About Culture Festival
- produced Australia's 1st production of stories and illustrations sharing with the public, the perspective of living in Victoria as a WoC, to inspire other WoC to follow unconventional careers (like entrepreneurship) - Stories of Intersections
2022
- amplified the stories of 10 different young WoC Victorian entrepreneurs, through a social media campaign - superHERo
- delivered x 3 sold-out events (>300 event attendees) to build the community of WoC founders with existing WoC founders pitching their startups and inspiring the growth of the community - Anyone Can

Cheryl is the CEO of Aussie Angels, and on a mission to democratise angel investing in Australia & NZ. She’s an active angel investor with 20+ startup investments, leading an angel syndicate with over 120 investors, and co-runs 361 Angel Club with 400+ investors. She’s a strategic advisor for several startups, and in her spare time, she’s a mentor for programs including Startmate and Founder Institute. A community-builder at heart, she previously held leadership roles at Stone & Chalk, and the Australian Computer Society. Before that she was the CEO of StartCon for 4 years, and created the APAC-wide Pitch for $1M competition.
