Professional Background: I lead cross-functional teams to optimize business Processes.
My career background is in business process development, program management, project management and production/operations management. In these roles I have led organizations through the challenges of optimizing operational efficiencies. Most recently, in a leadership role, I developed a process for new product introduction at Micron Technology. As an effective consensus builder, I negotiated agreement from multiple organizations that see the world differently, driving to closure on difficult business process changes. This required persistence, tenacity and developing the trust and loyalty from stakeholders and a cross functional international team.
Furthermore, as a core value, I am task-driven and help organizations through the change process rather than simply telling them what needs to be done. Stakeholder comments include that I helped overcome operational inefficiencies that had existed for years.
I’ve successfully led numerous process optimization, cost reduction and cycle time reduction projects. Many of these projects required me to deal with very complex issues and processes. Including bringing together business processes and cultures as part of mergers and acquisitions.
I discharge my stewardship with fidelity to the business owner. I’m seen as a reliable decision maker which has afforded me a high level of autonomy. Having an owner’s mindset drives me to be self-motivated and to complete the scope of work within budget and on schedule. I learn the technical nature of my job quickly. I am self-driven and adaptable in various business environments and stay calm and reasonable in stressful situations. Persistence and focus on customers and the team is in my nature.
