Charlotte Strömberg is currently a full time Board professional - Non-Executive Director - spanning over a broad portfolio of organizations alongside being an angel investor.
Over the past fifteen years she has held more than fifteen Board positions, representing a wide selection of global and regional corporations, sectors, business models (B2B and B2C), sizes, types of ownership and geographical reach. In addition to being a Member or Chairman of the Board, she has extensive experience of Board Committee work including Chairing Audit and Compensation Committees.
In 2006, Charlotte became CEO Nordics of Jones Lang LaSalle, a US listed investment management company specializing in real estate, a position she held until 2011 when she decided to move out of the executive role to focus on non-executive Board positions.
Prior to JLL, Charlotte spent some 20 years in Investing Banking holding management positions with leading Nordic Investment Banks. Developed a passion for delivering advisory services and transaction execution to demanding clients in a variety of sectors. Earning the position of being a trusted advisor and representing the shareholders/principal on a Board, respectively, are quite similar in terms of challenge and responsibility.
Charlotte founded her own company, Accretiv AB, in 2012 and is a Co-Founder of DHS Venture Partners. In recent years, she has ventured into direct investments in entrepreneurial start-ups, including Qasa, Airinum, Insurello, Pilloxa, BoardClic, Formulate, World's Marathons and GRC Watch.
Another mission is encouraging cross-over competence sharing and understanding between the private and public sector, the political arena and academia.
