"Leave it better than you found it" has been my guiding principle, instilled by my father during our backpacking adventures in the Sierras. This motto has shaped my approach across relationships, family, and career.
With over a decade of experience driving growth for leading companies, I bring a proven track record of developing successful sales strategies and relationships. My key strengths include motivating teams, identifying partnership opportunities, generating innovative solutions, and communicating complex ideas. Previously, I held leadership roles in partnerships, business development, and account management with companies like Salesforce, Centercode, and Invieo. This expertise equips me to help guide enterprises into the future of tech-driven business.
I am a cryptography research engineer and tech lead specialised in the practical aspects of secure multi-party computation, cryptographic blockchain protocols, and threshold signatures/decryption. Furthermore, I have worked with secure architecture design, authentication and general security for systems in production for both startups, and all the way to large entities.
My expertise involves:
1. Practically oriented academic research, with publications in top crypto and security conferences. For example, Crypto, Eurocrypt, TCC, IEEE S&P. I also do reviews and have been a workshop committee member.
2. Proof-of-concept and production-level programming (Java, Rust, Go, and C#), in particular in the financial and blockchain setting. Although, I have also done programming in the SIMD model using GPUs using CUDA.
3. Consultancy in relation to the secure architectures, in particular in the setting of critical infrastructure.
4. Teaching and dissemination of advanced cryptographic topics, both for specialized and general audiences.
Recently I have been working a lot with threshold schemes (in particular key generation).
Furthermore I am currently actively researching areas involving privacy preserving blockchain technologies.
I am well experienced in the more general areas of IT security as well, such as doing security reviews of practical protocols and overall architecture, e.g. using threat modeling and different frameworks such as OWASP.
I am also experienced in software engineering, both open source (e.g. the FRESCO framework and my work at Zama) and security critical closed source development through my work at Cryptomathic.
