My passion is finding solutions for people and companies to help them succeed. I am well known in the Toronto tech community as a connector, relationship builder and team player. I have a network and a wealth of resources that I use to help the people that I meet. I am often sought out as a resource for helping people and companies achieve their goals. With Refine Management, I was finding companies to recruit marketing and creative personnel and enhance employee experiences. As Program Manager, Developer Ecosystem and Startups with IBM Canada, I represented IBM’s Global Entrepreneur Program GEP, IBM Bluemix and Watson Analytics services to the startup community. My main strength was as an opportunity identifier, attending meetups, hackathons and tech events as an ambassador tracking and following-up with opportunities generated at these events and from leads introduced to me. As Delivery Manager for HealthcareEQ,, I had first hand experience working in a start up and can empathize with many of the people that I meet in startups. I also have over 20 years experience in tech, primarily as a QA Analyst, so I can comfortably talk about technology with everyone I meet. My followers on Twitter can attest to my interesting and informative tweets that I routinely post about technology and the exciting events happening. On LinkedIn I have over 8,000 connections that I use to connect the people I am serving to help achieve their goals. I attend meetups and events in the Toronto Startup ecosystem, volunteering at many of them. I have attended, observed, mentored, volunteered and judged at many Hackathons in Toronto. I spend my spare time volunteering with FIRST Robotics Canada, inspiring high school students to pursue their interests in technology and business in a competitive environment and have fun at the same time. The tournaments are for students where they learn innovative robotic design, construction, business and presentation skills.
