A growth-focused and operationally-minded sales executive, I currently serve as President and Chief Revenue Officer at CloudShare, a leading B2B SaaS company in the virtual IT lab space. Since joining in early 2021, my mission has been clear: reshape the business, build for scale, and drive toward a successful outcome — a mission that culminated in CloudShare’s acquisition by Bow River Capital in April 2025. As CRO, I led the transformation of the company’s go-to-market engine from the ground up - rearchitecting everything from organizational structure and pricing strategy to sales motion, customer segmentation, and operational efficiency. I directly oversaw the Sales, Solutions Engineering, Account Management, Customer Success, and Business Operations teams — driving alignment across functions and delivering predictable growth. In September 2023, I was appointed President in addition to CRO, and took the company to market for a funding round that ultimately resulted in a successful exit. Throughout this journey, I’ve operated at both the strategic and execution levels — scaling teams, navigating complex sales cycles, building strong customer relationships, and preparing the company for private equity investment and acquisition. Sean Dalton is, by most accounts, just a really good guy. A seasoned investment writer and financial content strategist, Sean has over a decade of experience crafting institutional and retail market commentary, equity and fixed income research, portfolio positioning insights, and thought leadership for the asset management industry. He is a graduate of the College of William & Mary’s Mason School of Business and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. Outside of work, Sean serves as an EMS Lieutenant and firefighter with Baltimore County Fire Department’s Station 35 in Arbutus. He is also an active member of the Fire Brigade Pipes and Drums of Greater Baltimore, where he plays the bagpipes.
