Last year, I was working as a Cryptocurrency Intelligence Analyst and pursuing a part-time MSc in the Internet of Things, further exploring the core fundamentals and application of cryptography, blockchain and distributed technologies. I completed my thesis around the topic of security behind interoperable distributed ledger technologies and the cross-chain applications built on them.
Throughout my time at university, I have explored alternate distributed ledger technologies, such as DAGs, Hashgraphs and Blockweaves and distributed storage protocols that enable highly secure and privacy-focused police evidence management. Following this, I co-authored a research paper exploring blockchain scalability at both layer one and layer two for smart-contract enabled protocols.
For my bacherlors, I received a First Class BSc (Hons) in Forensic Computing and Security at Bournemouth, in which my final project was a P2P standardized CTI sharing application, created using a federated Quorum Blockchain that stores a reference within Solidity smart contracts of the IPFS (Interplanetary FileSystem) storage location, all connected via APIs to a Python backend.
