Aaditya Shah is an accomplished mountaineer with certifications in a Diploma in Mountaineering, Glacier Travel & Crevasse Rescue, Avalanche Rescue (AIARE Level 1), Wilderness First Aid, and many more. With over a decade of experience, he has led more than 500 treks and rock climbs across the USA and India. Aaditya is the founder of Rock and Anchor, an outdoor adventure company offering unique experiences such as rock climbing, trekking, stargazing, wellness workshops, and other outdoor activities in India. Born and raised in Mumbai, India, Aaditya pursued his interests in design and technology, earning a Bachelor of Information Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology. His fascination with web design began when he first encountered HTML on W3 Schools, sparking a deep interest in learning more coding languages and engaging in technology discussions online. Aaditya is also passionate about teaching. He has taught street children how to operate and use computers and conducted theory sessions and workshops on the importance of computing at schools and organizations in Mumbai. Witnessing students unlock their potential and find their true calling brings him immense joy and satisfaction. In addition to his mountaineering and technology pursuits, Aaditya enjoys cooking for friends and family, cycling around the city, fixing gadgets, and playing chess. Masters student a RIT pursuing MS in Information Technology and Analytics. Coursework comprises of subjects - Non Relational Data Management, Relational Data, Visual Analytics, Foundation of Data Science and Analytics, Data Warehousing, Time series. Interested in Data Analytics and Data Engineer positions. I have related experience with databases from my 8 month co-op from Wegmans Food Markets. I have done various projects on data analytics and real time data using technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Azure, Hadoop, Kafka, Python and visualization tools such as PowerBI and Tableau, Time series prediction using minitab. Currently working on campus as a Graduate student assistant (Relational Databases) - assisting students in their coursework and grading assignments. Also working as a Technical Lab Worker on campus - solving hardware or software issues faced by faculty or in labs in RIT GCCIS.
