During my teenage years, I had the opportunity to work at my father's company, FB Washburn Candy, which happens to be the oldest family-owned candy company in America. My role involved assisting in candy production and contributing to various marketing initiatives.
During my college years, I held multiple positions within the entertainment industry, gaining valuable career experiences that ultimately led me to where I am today.
Throughout my various corporate roles between 2008-2017, I discovered my true passion: having the freedom and autonomy of being my own boss, crafting a career that would evolve into a lifestyle, and harnessing the exclusive, unique VIP access I had at my disposal – something individuals and businesses are constantly seeking when it comes to entertainment, travel, hospitality, and VIP experiences.
In August 2017, I took the leap and left my 9-5 job to embark on a 24/7/365 career as the founder of 𝗧𝗕𝗦𝗩𝗜𝗣. Fast forward to today, we've solidified our position as the sole corporate entertainment concierge in New England. With our exclusive VIP access worldwide, we have the ability to transform companies' visions into reality by creating extraordinary experiences for their employees, clients, families, and friends that are truly unparalleled.

As a Marketing and Digital Media Specialist, I create and manage engaging web and social media content and support various marketing initiatives and campaigns. I leverage my skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Hootsuite, and Google Analytics to produce high-quality photo, video, and graphic content that drives brand awareness and customer loyalty.
I have over five years of marketing experience, spanning across different sectors and organizations, including sports, finance, and startups. My passion for sports led me to design and implement experiential marketing programs for SoccerHead, a soccer-focused community platform, and to serve as a brand ambassador for the New England Revolution, generating fan engagement, marketing leads and assisting with content creation for the Mascot accounts.
My involvement in professional organizations, like PRSA and WISE, has allowed me to sharpen my marketing skills and embrace the importance of networking and staying updated with industry trends. I'm also a proud graduate of the University of Rhode Island, where I earned my BA in Public Relations, Multimedia Journalism, and Sports Media, with a minor in Communication Studies. My education and experience have equipped me with a versatile and dynamic skill set that I can apply to any marketing challenge or opportunity.
I'm excited to channel my passion for sports into my career and to collaborate with other marketing professionals who share the same vision and enthusiasm. My goal is to make an impact in the world of sports media and marketing, where I can combine my creativity, communication, and community-building skills with my love for sports.

Originally from western Massachusetts, Merisa has spent most of her professional career working in and around Boston, and is currently the Digital Media Manager for Rhode Island FC.
Merisa began working with the Boston Bruins as a member of the Marketing Game Night Staff team in 2018 and joined the Fan and Youth Engagement Department of the Boston Red Sox in 2019 to further expand her skills and knowledge from an in-game marketing perspective.
She utilized this experience to begin working as an In-Game Social Media Producer for the Red Sox during the 2021 MLB season. Here, she helped tell each game’s story through the team’s Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook pages.
Merisa earned her first full-time role with the New England Revolution in November 2021 where she worked in the communications department for 2.5 years. She served as the main point of contact for the club’s second team and Academy, telling the pro pathway story through press releases, game notes, match recaps, and through the club’s social media channels.
While finishing her Bachelor’s in Communications and Media Studies from Emmanuel College and beginning her Master’s of Public Relations at Emerson College, Merisa was the Director of Communications for the Worcester Blades of the Canadian Women’s Hockey League. Here, she developed her passion of advocating for and growing women’s sports through earned media coverage and social media.
Merisa rounds out her experience with leadership positions in customer service at Starbucks as a Shift Manager and at Six Flags New England as a Rides Supervisor. Through these two roles, she has developed teamwork and time management skills while successfully leading multiple teams through each company’s specific goals.
