* Helped lead the sale of Rally to Optum/United Healthcare and its integration into key areas of Optum including some of the organizations listed above that replaced existing Optum/UHC processes.
* Stabilizing and scaling the Second Life GRID infrastructure, which includes over 9000 distributed hosts, and serves more than 750,000 monthly active users. Improved service availability up time by more than 80% in the first year of managing, and eventually to 99.9% reliability.
* Directing operations at AOL including; 4 large-scale data centers, +30 international collocations facilities and + 35K host servers.
• Overseeing operations for +80M registered accounts across various AOL properties.
Focused on cost containment and efficiency through improved labor cost structure more efficient contract/vendor management and development of "smart" technology.
• Helped to create and scale the world’s largest dial up/broadband ISP network, serving +30M members, delivering +7B hours of traffic, and connecting +3M members to the host infrastructure simultaneously at peak times.
