I graduated from Politecnico di Torino with a degree in Telematics Engineering in April 2007, writing a thesis on input-queued switch architectures for multicast traffic.
Between June 2007 and December 2007 I was a researcher assistant at Politecnico di Torino, working on software router architecture in the BORA-BORA italian research project (PRIN) funded by MIUR (Ministero dell'Istruzione, dell'Università e della Ricerca).
From January 2008 to December 2010 I have been with the Dipartimento di Elettronica of Politecnico di Torino as a PhD student, under the supervision of Prof. Andrea Bianco. My interest are software routers, server and storage virtualization and Storage Area Networks (SAN). During this period I participated to the FP7 FEDERICA project, with the goal to create a European wide technology agnostic infrastructure made of Gigabit circuits, transmission equipment and computing nodes capable of virtualization to host experimental activities on new Internet architectures and protocols.
From May 2009 to October 2009 I visited TSLAB at KTH University in Stockholm, under the supervision of Peter Sjoedin and Markus Hidell.
I was a Senior Member of the technical staff at VMware working in the QA team after the acquisition of Nicira by VMware. My main duties are related to data-plane performance evaluation, QE for Open vSwitch and NVP, the maintenance and improvement of the test infrastructure and the development of new testcases.
I joined Google in 2013 and since then I have been a Network Test Engineer in the Network Infrastructure team, then a Software Engineer, Tools and Infrastructure working on Google Fit app.
