Bill has over 20 years of experience in sales management, team building and partner development for the world's most successful digital media companies.
He re-joined Google in March 2019 as Head of Industry. Prior to Google he served as the inaugural President & CEO of a media agency startup built to inform creative teams which creative elements were the biggest performance drivers across social media.
Before building the agency, Bill oversaw multiple teams at Twitter - including the direct sales teams for the Financial Services and Telecom verticals as well as Twitter’s Global Advertising Performance division (comprised of Twitter's Campaign Optimization and Ads API Teams representing over $1B in annual revenue).
Prior to Twitter he served as Chief Revenue Officer at SocialCode. Under Bill's leadership, SocialCode tripled year over year revenues each year, forged partnerships with more than 30 Fortune 100 companies, 4 of the 5 largest agency holding companies and became the largest managed service API partner for both Facebook and Twitter.
Bill joined SocialCode from Facebook where he led a top performing team focused on helping Fortune 100 brands create and execute "social by design" experiences.
Earlier in his career, Bill oversaw the direct sales efforts for Google's Commerce and Analytics team responsible for the creation of strategic partnerships with key retailers and top tier Adwords advertisers.
Prior to Google, he was a Sales Manager at Advertising.com (acquired by Aol in July 2004) where he also developed, launched and published their research platform. Bill started his career in research working for Nielsen and Media Metrix (acquired by comScore in 2002) where he won multiple awards for his work with the company's largest and most important clients.
A graduate of Providence College, he currently resides in Long Island, NY with his wife, 2 children and two golden retrievers.
