With 30 years of experience in various sectors, I am a passionate executive coach and mentor for corporate executives, individuals and funds. My mission is to help motivated professionals become world-class leaders. As the Managing Partner of Wescott Inc., I leverage my insights and connections from previous roles as a co-founder of a fintech company. I have also been an angel investor, contributor at TechCrunch, capital investment banker, crisis communications counselor, lobbyist, legislative aide and podcaster. My coaching practice includes the following specialities: Career reinvention - Successful professional reinventions come down to commitment and self-awareness. As a serial reinventor, I am particularly well situated to guide executives through the challenging but rewarding process of becoming born again. Co-founder relationship improvement - Co-founders may not always realize it, but they are in a professional marriage. I work with co-founders to help them resolve their outstanding issues and improve their modus operandi. Crisis management - I relish the challenge of helping thoughtful executives manage through the thorniest of situations. Every crisis is unique, but it is also true that there is nothing new under the sun. Leadership enhancement - If you’re a “6” or “7” seeking to become a “9” or “10,” the good news is that real improvement is possible. But it takes work. Thought leadership development - I tap my experience as a media entrepreneur and TechCrunch contributor to help clients become authority figures in their chosen area of expertise.
