I’m a passionate innovator, entrepreneur, and technologist dedicated to developing solutions that bridge advanced technology and real-world impact. Currently, I lead Valkyra, where we’re pioneering augmented reality (AR) and robotics solutions for trauma care in challenging environments such as military battlefields, disaster relief zones, and rural healthcare settings. Our mission is to save lives by enhancing trauma interventions with real-time AR-guided imaging and robotic teleoperation. As an NSIN Foundry entrepreneur participant, I’m collaborating with NIWC Atlantic, a Navy lab, to commercialize augmented reality RF detection technology, further advancing AR in defense applications. Previously, I founded XBoost, a biotech startup focused on combining XR technologies with robotic exoskeleton devices for stroke rehabilitation. My career journey includes roles at Mount Sinai Innovation Partners, Harvard, NASA, Johns Hopkins, and Enable Games, where I developed XR-based games for patients with neurological disorders like cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s. I was also privileged to serve as a research intern at the University of Auckland, contributing to two academic publications on eye-gaze tracking and inter-brain synchrony in VR environments. Currently, I’m also a Machine Learning Engineer at Elite CAD Designs, where we develop advanced building operation solutions by integrating ESP32 microcontrollers, Arduino IDE, Python, and OpenCV for video processing and audio transcription, enabling seamless communication and maintenance coordinations. I was honored to be the first undergraduate selected for the prestigious MIT Catalyst Fellowship, where I explored unmet medical needs, focusing on stroke rehabilitation for upper extremities. Along the way, I’ve been a two-time NSF I-Corps grant winner and have presented as an invited speaker at numerous hackathons, tech events, and global innovation conferences, sharing my passion for emerging technologies. Beyond my professional work, I’m deeply committed to fostering innovation, collaboration, and inclusivity across diverse sectors. I believe that by combining AR, robotics, machine learning, and telemedicine, we can create scalable, life-saving solutions while also advancing applications in space exploration, defense, education, entertainment, and autonomous systems. As a key member of the Defense team at Applied Intuition, I work closely with senior leadership to drive corporate development and strategic initiatives. I hold a Master of Literature in Strategic Studies from the University of St Andrews, where my dissertation, "Boko Haram's Playbook: An Analysis of Boko Haram's Strategic Evolution," examined the strategic thinking behind insurgent group operations. My research on U.S. Military Information Warfare and other contemporary security issues has been published by the U.S. Army War College and international foreign policy platforms. Earlier in my career, as a consultant at Command Group, I led multinational and large-scale national security projects from inception to completion, including proposal development, capture strategy, and client management. I was responsible for overseeing relationships with the firm’s largest clients, including Fortune 10 companies and nation-state governments.
