Danielle Dardashti is CEO of dash. She empowers companies and humans to be their most authentic selves, get vulnerable, and tell impactful stories. She produces live storytelling shows, leads corporate workshops around the world, and helps her clients make films and podcasts. In her own award-winning 6-episode documentary podcast, The Nightingale of Iran, Danielle tells the story of her own famous Persian Jewish family. She is the host and writer, and co-created the series with her sister Galeet Dardashti. The show has won several prestigious awards, including 2024 Signal Awards for Best Documentary, Best Writing, and Listeners' Choice; Best Podcast of 2024 in the Quill Awards; and was nominated for Best Indie Podcast of 2025 by the Ambies. Danielle adapted the podcast into a live stage show that is touring the world. And with a grant from The Covenant Foundation, curriculum materials are being created to go with the podcast. Danielle is an Emmy Award-winning documentary producer/writer who has produced television documentaries for Discovery Channel and other networks. She spent a decade as on-air TV news reporter in Ohio, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Atlanta. She is a StorySLAM champion who has been featured on NPR's Moth Radio Hour. And she’s held senior strategy and business development roles at content studios within media companies Meredith Corporation and Tribune Publishing. Danielle is also the co-founder and creative director of live storytelling show Storyboom. And she and her husband Roni Sarig are co-authors of three editions of The Jewish Family Fun Book (Jewish Lights Publishing, 2002, 2004, 2008). Whether a podcast, a film, live storytelling, a book, or an article, Danielle has a knack for strategic storytelling that engages audiences and achieves results. She is an energetic leader, an inspiring communicator, an inclusive team-builder, and an extraordinary connector with a great deal of integrity.
