I am a co-founder and partner of Companyon Ventures, an early-stage VC firm that I founded based on my experiences as an entrepreneur, advisor, and seed fund venture partner. At Companyon, we fund companies between Seed and Series A and help great teams transition out of product-market fit and into the expansion phase. As an entrepreneur, I co-founded VoiceSignal, a speech and language technology startup in the wireless industry that put state-of-the-art voice technology into the hands of 100s of millions of mobile handsets worldwide before being acquired by Nuance in 2007. I was also an early advisor and investor in Shaser Bioscience, before joining as COO. Shaser was a CPG startup that was regulated by FDA as a Class 2 consumer medical device company. Our aesthetic consumer products for women were sold online, on TV, and at retail around the world before we were acquired by the Remington division of Spectrum Brands in 2011. I enjoy collaborating with humble high-performance teams and feel like I'm always learning from the amazing entrepreneurs and investors around me.
